October 6 – Earthquake Victims Memorial Day.
October 27 – Anniversary of Turkmenistan Independence.
December 12 – Day of Turkmenistan Neutrality.
The first Sunday of April – the Water Day.
The last Sunday of April – the Turkmen Akhalteke Horses Holiday.
The last Sunday of May – the Turkmen Carpets Holiday.
The third Sunday of July – the Grain Holiday.
The second Sunday of August – the Turkmen Melons Holiday.
The second Sunday of September – the Turkmen Bagshy (folk song singers) Holiday.
November 17 – the Students Day.
The last Sunday of November – the Harvest Holiday.
The first Sunday of December – the Neighbor’s Day.
Moveable according Muslim calendar – the Islamic Holiday Day of Sacrifice (the Kurban Bairam holiday is celebrated for 3 days) and Holiday “Oraza” (the first day of the lunar Bairam month).
